Go swimming by the historic
covered bridge in Jay, NY or swim at :ake Eveerest in Wilmington. Try
fishing the Ausable River at the bottom of the hill. Climb one of the
nearby 46 "High Peaks." Eat, shop, and wander about Lake Placid. Ski
Whiteface Mountain. Go horseback riding at Wilson's Livery in Keene. Get
a full tan without getting arrested. Buy a pie at the Noonmark Diner in
Keene Valley, or gather berries on the property and bake your own pie.
Take the Lake Champlain Ferry over to Burlington, VT for the day. Take
the kids to North Pole, NY to see Santa's Workshop. Melt in one of our
"Adirondack" chairs whilst sipping your poison of choice. Lie in the
hammock after dark and play "Spot the Satellites." Interact with your
children. Marvel at The Milky Way. Finish a thought for a change.

Cleaning Policy:
We utilize a cleaning service
between rentals. Prior to departure we expect renters to empty the
refrigerator and trash cans (garbage cans provided in garage), strips beds,
leave used linens and towels on floor of bedrooms, wash all dishes (or run
dishwasher and empty), leave all furniture and amenities where they were
found upon arrival. Please leave the place tidy, organized and ready for our
cleaning service to get to work. This helps keep our rental rate as
reasonable as possible. A detailed checklist for departure is provided.
Please ask for cleaning fee.
Linen Policy:
Linens are provided. Prior to
departure, strip beds and leave all used linens on the bedroom floor. If
time allows, please wash a load as you are preparing for departure. Also, if
time allows, it would be appreciated if you could dry that load also.
However, please do not leave either washer or dryer running when you depart.
Security Deposit Information:
$500
security deposit. Following inspection of property, after departure of
guests, the deposit will be returned via mail. $80 cleaning fee mandatory.
