Mountain Lake is a great family lake that is only 4 1/2 hours north of
the New York City area and 45 minutes from the Albany area, and just
around the corner from Gloversville for shopping needs. It is small
lake with few power boats and a community environment. It is a fantastic
place for kids to fish, play, swim and make new friends. This rental
provides a rowboat and a paddle boat, a charcoal and a gas grill, and a
hot tub. It is tucked away off the beaten path and is a large log cabin
with glassed in porches on both the first and second floors facing the
lake. The inside is spacious and open downstairs and has 4 bright
bedrooms upstairs.
There is no TV or computer service and cell phone service is spotty. Put technology behind you and just enjoy the lake. If you want to reenter the modern world it is just a sort drive away to Gloversville with all the amenities you desire. Only $1,800 per week. Occupancy for 8.
